Getting a Validation Letter for a UAE Driver's License
To have the UAE driver’s license certified by the UAE Embassy in Ottawa, please follow the below-mentioned steps:
1) Request a validation letter from the issuing Traffic Department in the U.A.E. (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Qaiwan and Fujairah)
2) Send the original validation letter, original driving license, processing fee (Money order or certified cheque in CANADIAN CURRENCY $50.00 made out to UAE EMBASSY.) and a prepaid envelope to the U.A.E. Embassy attention to Consular Section.
3) It will take 3-5 working days to process your document. This processing time does not include shipping/postage times.
